The girls finally got Baptised

Cant believe I haven't post in such a long time. Well Aliana and Marisol got Baptised two weeks ago. It was beautiful. Some of our family members came from NY and VA to join us in this special day.

It was not easy to get Aliana dress neither was easy to have her calm at Church.

She was so cranky little did we know that she was getting her 1st tooth.... I will try to get a picture of it later this week...

I was Marisol's Madrina (Godmother) She got baptised now because my sister and her husband were stationed in NC and we couldn't get our family together, well finally after two years they moved to FL. Marisol's Padrino (Godfather) Jason's cousin who also came from NY.

Aliana's Madrina was Titi Michelle and her Padrino was Tio Eddie from NY.

Having our families in NY gets very hard when it comes to do special events. We always want everyone to come and join us celebrate with us.. but distance and money is always an issue :O(.

I didn't get many pictures because I was always running around :O( I hate it that mami and Oscar didn't get a picture with Aliana, neither did my uncle and Fresia. Next time i think i would just have one of my friends or family members to be the photographer...

Thank you everyone for coming celebrate the girls Baptism, it really meant allot to us.

My Niece's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARISOL :o)

YOU ARE GETTING SO BIG AND SMART.

You are now two years old.. and your favorite thing are shoes... love to walk around the house with mamis shoes, also you love signing... Lately you have been playing with the kareoke machine and singing away. Love it.

We love you very much, keep being the sweet girl that you are!

Strawberry Picking

So Saturday it was a girls day out :O) My mom, sister, niece and my daughter went strawberry picking. It was windy and sunny... perfect day for the occasion.

Last year I took my sister and my niece strawberry picking... I remember Marisol was learning how to walk... and I was about three months pregnant, time really goes by fast when you are having fun.

So funny now she is not only walking, she is running around...

I also got to bring my Aliana in my arms... remembered picking strawberries and telling my sister, next year I will have my baby with us....

God is great..... He has blessed me with a healthy beautiful baby girl. I can not believe how amazing it feels to be a mom. I love every second of it, wouldn't change it for nothing in this world.

We had a lovely time. Mom had an amazing time... hahaha Within 10 minutes of being there she had already picked 4 pounds. I'm glad this time she came with us.

The girls had lots of fun but my mom enjoyed it the most. She picked so many strawberry in about a minute.. within 15 minutes of us being there we had already like 4 pounds of strawberries.

We have agreed to make this a tradition.. we will be going strawberry picking every year if possible.

We went home with 8 pounds of strawberries :O) Plenty to make lots of smoothies!

Bonding with Papi

I can not describe how I feel when I see Aliana playing with her daddy. My heart just melts to see them two bonding. Aliana has changed our life's in the most amazing ways. I always knew he would be a good father. He loves to sing to her and is always making her laugh....Aliana loves it when he acts silly especially when he dances with her... she giggles non stop...

He loves to read to her and makes up stories as he goes on... never very nice ones.... for those who knows Alex would know the kind of silly stories that he usually makes up.... He is just too funny.... for sure he always knows how to put the biggest smiles on our faces.

Low on my supply Vent

I don't know what to do in order to increase my milk supply I'm so stress out and i know that being stress out doesn't help the situation. I pump 4 times at work and seem to only get 8 oz :O( i need 10 or more. Going to try to drink more water and eat more... worry about the weight later hahahaha

New Routine

Lately I have been thinking on how I'm probably the only mami that lets her child be up until 10:30 @ night just because she wants to spend time with her baby. Well I think I have been selfish to do that, you need to rest and it is not fair to you.

So last night Papi and mami decided to start a routine. I picked you up from Titi's, we got home around 6:15pm. Shortly after that we went for a short little walk, and chatted with the neighbor, once papi got home we both played with you... you were hiding under your crib, you hit your head a couple of times but you finally got under it and when you did you were very so happy that you were clapping for yourself.




I fed you some veggies and while papi was cooking dinner I bathed you. I nursed you and kissed you a millions times and you were out until 1am for some feeding. It was great knowing that you were resting.... I'm so happy for you and us.
This morning you woke up very early and happy ready to start a great day :O)

She is officially crawling

Monday when I was at work your titi called me and told me a secret..... she said "Chunky cheeks is crawling" I wanted to run and squeeze you, I'm so so proud of you. You are growing so fast and seeing you grow is the most fascinating thing ever.

Great timing "Sophie" (your new teether toy) came in the mail today. Sophie is a gift from mami and papi. We wanted to get her for you because we know that very soon you will be teething and she will help you get thru those painful days.

So papi and mami had an agreement with Titi Ruth :O) we asked her to please not tell us what you are doing until we see you do it 1st :O) I know kind of silly but I still want to experience the "1st" of your everything moments:O) So when we picked you up Papi and I saw you crawling it was so so neat... your were trying to reach for Sophie and you did an excellent job.
